Extended School provisions

Telferscot offers an extended school day for our Reception to Year 6 pupils, which provides families with flexible and affordable childcare options to balance their commitments. Our wraparound care runs from 7.30am - 6.00pm day, Monday - Friday, during term time.

Our extended school offering is extremely popular with Telferscot children, allowing them to take part in a wide variety of exciting activities and special interest clubs. The children can have fun and relax in a familiar and safe environment with staff that they know and trust.

At our Breakfast Club children have a selection of food to choose from: cereal, toast, bagels and fruit yoghurts. The children play inside and out, with a story time at 8.30 a.m., ready for the school day.

At after school club (TASC), the children have a healthy snack such as pizza, bagels, fruit. The children enjoy a range of activities such as art, construction and the home corner. From Monday to Thursday TASC runs from two hubs and the children play with all year groups in the playground. 

Booking

Sessions must be pre-booked, but if you do require a place, please email Sammi directly sburrows@telferscot.co.uk Please note that ad hoc places are limited, please contact Sammi to enquire. 

Extended School day, timings and prices:

Breakfast Club: 7.30am - 8.40am, costing £9.00 per session
Breakfast club drop off is between 7.30am - 8.00am. 

TASC (Telferscot After School Club): 3.30pm - 6.00pm, costing £15.00 per session, or a slightly reduced rate if your child attends all five days, please enquire with the school office.

Pick-up for TASC is between 5.00pm-6.00pm

Extended Clubs: 3.30pm- 4.30pm, costing £9.00 per session.

Football, Art club, Drama club, Netball, Tag Rugby, Hockey, Lego, Chess, Coding Club, Book club and Sewing club.
