This week Nursery have been thinking about how we can be healthy. We came up it’s drinking water, having a goods night sleep, exercising and eating healthy food. We focused on healthy food and talked about the food that we can only eat now and again. Here is a video all about healthy eating https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=JgM9bXNVV5U&feature=youtu.be
For the next two weeks we will be concentrating on Africa and the Caribbean for Black History Month. Next week we will be reading books by Eileen Browne (Handa’s surprise) and finding all about Ms Jolly, who grew up in Uganda. We will end the fortnight with an open house on Friday 18th October where you can join us for our Harvest assembly at 9am and then come to Nursery to see all the Black History learning the children have taken part in.
Thank you to all the parents that came to curriculum evening on Thursday. If you were unable to make it please ask me for handouts and a copy of the presentation will be emailed out shortly.
Thanks or you continued support,
Miss Skates and the Nursery team :)
