Welcome back to a new half term and I hope you all had a restful half term. We've kicked our learning off with reading The Leopard's Drum which children are really enjoying. They have written some fantastic character descriptions and we'll be exploring the characters more next week through letter writing and diary entries. This a wonderful traditional Asante tale which links with our geography as we will be looking at Ghana and in particular Accra. We will also be comparing London and Accra over the next week.
Can you think of any rights from the UNICEF children's charter that children have which are to do with nationality?
Please keep in mind some key dates for you diary and if you haven't already, please do book a parent conference slot for next week. See you then.

11th & 12th December - EYFS and KS1 xmas production
