...you can't catch me I'm the gingerbread child.
This week is STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) week. We have been looking at women in STEM, we will be writing biographies about a woman of our choice. We have looked at so many inspiring women including Marie Curie, Ada Lovelace and Margaret Hamilton.
We have also been building rafts to hold a gingerbread child, this is our whole school experiment. We will be testing these rafts on Friday afternoon, they have to be made from 4 materials and float for 10 seconds. In year 5 we have had a thought about the weight of the gingerbread child and made sure our rafts will hold them.
On Friday, it is our class assembly, Mr Lennon wrote a song for us which we are so excited to share with you!
We will also be sharing the dorms and groups for our trip to Osmington Bay on Friday, we cannot wait to have a week away with all the exciting activities planned.
Have a lovely weekend!
